About H. Johnson & Co 

H. Johnson & Co has been making quality memorials since 1932 when Herbert Johnson started the company in City Road, Broadway.  When Botany Cemetery (now called Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park) opened a few years later, Herbert relocated the business to Matraville, NSW where it remains today.

Over the years, Herbert brought his family into the business, passing on his skills and knowledge to son Stanley and son-in-law Harold.  The company continues to be family-run to this day.

If he was alive today, Herbert would be astounded by the computer technology used by great-grandson Anthony Renowden, who now owns and runs the business, but the quality, attention to detail and sensitive service would be very familiar to him.
